Melanjutkan posting sebelumnya tentang Karakteristik Total Quality Management, kali ini yang akan saya tuliskan adalah tentang Pengertian Inovasi, berikut ini pengertian-pengertiannya :
1. Pengertian Inovasi Menurut Everett Rogers (1983)
Inovasi adalah ide, praktek atau objek yang dianggap sebagai suatu yang baru bagi individu atau unit adopsi lain. Lebih lengkapnya :
“An innovation is an idea, practice or object that is perceived as new by an individual or other unit of adoption. It matters little, so far as human behavior is concerned, whether or not an idea is “objectively” news as measured by the lapse of time since its use or discovery. The perceived newness of the idea seems new to the individual, it is an innovation”.
2. Pengertian Inovasi Menurut Gerald Zaltman dan Robert Duncan (1977)
Inovasi adalah ide-ide, praktek atau benda yang dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang baru oleh unit adopsi. Inovasi dipersepsikan oleh individu atau unit adopsi formal atau informal sebagai sesuatu yang baru.
“An innovation is any idea, practice or mate artifact perceived to be new by the relevan unit adopt. The innovation is the change object. A change is the altera in the structure of a system that requires or could be required relearning on the part the actor(s) is response to a situation. The requirements of the situation often involve a res to a new requirement is an inventive process producing an invention. However, all innovation, sice not everything an individual or formal or informal group adopt is perceived as new”.
