Causes of Cancer
International Agency For Research On Cancer (IARC) predicts that in 2030 there will be approximately 21.4% of cancer patients around the world. Not only spread in developed and developing countries as earlier periods, but also in poor countries. What are the factors that can trigger of growing population of cancer patients? Actually the cause of cancer cannot been known definitely, because it is a combination of many factors, including the modern lifestyle.
Nowadays’ facilities tend to be easy and fast which make people less activity. For example, if many antiquity people ride a bicycle to do their activities, but now every activity is done by a motorcycle or a car, which makes us less movement. This body's lack of movement is also compounded with the consumption of unhealthy foods and bad dietary habit, such as the consumption of foods with different content of preservatives, dye, etc.
Other lifestyle that causes cancer is smoking. Smoking will inhale nicotine poison and many other toxins in cigarettes. With the presence of toxins, the quality of physical health declined so that would be vulnerable to virus attacks, including cancer-causing viruses.
At 1 June 2011, WHO stated that the mobile phone / handphone can cause brain cancer. The conclusion is the result of 21 scientists’ meeting from 14 countries, including the latest research that has not been published. WHO recommended that the owners of HP reduce hands-free devices and sending short messages. The previous research stated that the use of HP for half an hour a day will make the users exposed to the risk of cancer by 40%.
The other factors that causes cancer are stress, excessive consumption of foods containing fat and preserved meat and consumption of liquor.
