If turbidity found in the center of the lens , it will be impaired visual acuity . A simple way to identify someone is having cataract is the pinhole test .
Having tested that visual acuity decreases with the requested view objects at a certain distance , then it should be known whether the cause of refractive errors that require correction such as glasses .
How to test pinhole : Make a small hole ( with needle ) on a piece of paper , then through a small hole saw an object , if able to see objects clearly means that experienced decreased visual acuity due to refractive error , while if it is not able to see objects clearly the possibility of cataract .
