Antacid drug is drug that reduce stomach acid, also called acid binder, such as the "peptic ulcer" is ulcer in the stomach and intestine.
Antacid groups are as follows:
a. Systemic Antacid, the sample of Natrii Subcarbonas drug, it is not used anymore, because it can cause systemic electrolyte disorder and occur alkalosis is high blood pH.
b. Nonsystemic Antacid, the sample of Alucol drug, Magnesii Trisilicas, Magnesii Oxydum.
Antacid effect is temporary, if the use is disconnected so the effect will be lost.
Anthelmintic drug is drug which is used to eradicate or kill worm. The examples of drug are Piperazini Citras for ascariasis and oxyuriasis, Santonium for ascariasis, Bephenii Hudroxynaphthoas for ankylostomiasis, Pyrantheli Pamaos for ascariasis, axyuriasis, ankylostomiasis, Necatoriasis.
Antiamoebic drug is drug used to kill or eradicate amoebae, is Entamuba Histolytica. The examples of drug are Emetini Hydrochloridum, Iodochloroxyquinolinum or bioform, Fanguinonum, Clefamidum.
