Definition of drug is a substance that is used for diagnosis, treatment, soften, cure or prevention of disease in human or in animal.

Although drug can cure but there are many people who suffer drug toxicity. So that the drug can be as a drug and can also be as a poison.
It is as drug if used correctly in the treatment of a disease with a suitable dose and time. It is as toxic if used incorrectly in the treatment or with excessive doses.
Drug when used not according to the rules set forth by the expert pharmacist or doctor that it would be fatal even lead to death, for example because of an overdose.
The use of the drug should consider and determine the effect of the drug, what diseases suffered, how the dose, as well as when and where the drug is used.

Various classes of drug are:
Oxytocic drug is useful spur uterine muscle activity but some other drugs are selected to weak uterine muscle.
Mydriatic drug work to widen the pupil while miotic drug constrict the pupil.
Hemostatic group is drug used to prevent bleeding. Emetic drug is drug to encourage the vomiting. Antiemetic group is drug to prevent vomiting.
Diuretic group is drug to increase urine, eliminate swelling or oedeem. Sudoriferic group is used to multiply out the sweat and expectorant used to dilute the liquid phlegm in the respiratory tract.
Other types of drug are anesthetic used for general anesthesia, analgesia to reduce pain, and antibiotic to kill germs and intravenous fluid blood transfusion and food or nutrition.
