In addition to good and nutrition food for babies and children, immunization is an important thing that needs to be done by parents to their babies and children in supporting their health.

Immunization can protect the baby and child from various virus attacks, so it is expected that a baby and a child who is very susceptible to the disease will be more robust and maintained their health. We certainly agree that preventive action or prevention is better than medicinal treatment and the baby is everything for his parents, so since the birth of the baby, do regular immunization. It will maintain the child’s health and impact the growth of perfect physical, psychological and intelligence.

Types of immunization, immunization benefits and uses of immunization for our children are:

1. BCG vaccine (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin)
The vaccine is used to prevent tuberculosis
2. Hepatitis B Vaccine
This vaccine is useful to protect against the virus that causes hepatitis B
3. Polio Vaccine
This vaccine is useful to protect against polio that causes paralysis
4. DPT Vaccine (Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus)
This vaccine is useful to protect children from diphtheria (throat and respiratory tract infection that are fatal and potentially cause death), pertussis (whooping cough) and tetanus
5. Measles Vaccine
This vaccine is useful to prevent measles
6. PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine)
It is to protect babies and children under five from Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) disease caused by Streptococcus pneumonia bacteria that spread through blood and destructive (invasive). Types of diseases classified in IPD are inflammation of the lungs (pneumonia), inflammation of the lining of the brain (meningitis), and blood infections (bacteremia).
7. Hib Vaccine
This vaccine is useful to protect babies and children under five from the attacks of meningitis, pneumonia, and epiglottitis
8. MMR (Mumps, Measles, Rubella)
It is useful to protect children under three and children from measles, mumps, and rubella (German measles)
9. Typhoid
Protecting children under three and children of typhus
10. Influenza
Protecting babies and children from severe colds (a disease caused by influenza virus)
11. Varicella
Protecting children from measles
12. Hepatitis A
Protecting children under three and children of hepatitis A
13. HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)
Protecting children of Human papilloma virus (the cause of cervical cancer)
